Each Eurodia employee undertakes to comply with an internal code of conduct and to report any situation that infringes the code’s principles. This document covers many areas of the group’s activity. It creates the conditions for a healthy and safe working environment, where any form of harassment or discrimination is prohibited. The undertakings set out in this code also include preventing conflicts of interest and corruption; complying with laws and competition and confidentiality rules; and protecting personal data.
The same approach regulates Eurodia’s relations with its suppliers worldwide. They are asked to adhere to a code of principles, which include complying with laws; performing their undertakings in good faith and with respect for the confidentiality of interactions and information; impartiality; and ensuring decent working conditions.
Because Eurodia knows what its industrial activities entail, the Eurodia Group focuses on three priorities: preventing and reducing occupational risks (by leveraging regulatory tools and internal methods to keep its workplace accident rate very low), preventing and reducing environmental impacts (chiefly through constant research and development around eco-efficient processes, waste reduction and recycling, frugal energy use, etc.), and safety and environmental training.
The group executes its Environment Strategy at various levels. One of these is our employees’ multiple eco-friendly initiatives to reduce plastic waste (mains-fed water fountains, reusable individual bottles and cups), waste sorting, ridesharing (employee-initiated schedule) or coming to work in electric cars (charging stations have been installed). Other actions involve general business management: low-voltage bulbs only, a heating system based on heat pumps, recycling of all printer consumables and batteries, switchover to portable computers, which use less power than towers… Lastly, our product design policy also helps reduce our impacts, for example via the search for water savings: volumetric flow meters upline of charcoal filters, an electrodialysis stack rinsing procedure, and the recycling of water in equipment rinsing circuits.
Eurodia currently scores 76/100 in France’s workplace gender parity index, and is striving to go higher all the time.
