For essential activities like drinking, eating, growing, traveling, and protecting the environment, humans need purified fluids. At Eurodia, we are dedicated to this vital role.

Eurodia, a global specialist in eco-efficient processes for purifying liquids.

We operate in two strategic sectors: agro-food and the industries embracing the environmental & energy transition. Our mission? Purify liquids to the highest quality, with the lowest energy cost and environmental impact.

We do this worldwide using three types of technology: electrodialysis, chromatography and ion-exchange resins, and membrane filtration.

We combine these technologies in an infinite number of ways to create innovative, turnkey, custom process solutions, delivering guaranteed eco-efficiency regarding quality and production costs as well as effluent reduction or valorization.

We thus deliver a unique response to each customer’s challenge, supporting their shift to a future-proofed industrial model.

Our contribution to the future of industry

We believe that industry resolves the question of its impacts by confronting even greater questions — those posed by the Earth and its finite resources. How do we take nothing from the environment that cannot be returned to it? How do we release back into nature only what belongs there — or better yet, what actively contributes to preserving it? How do we avoid returning anything that could permanently degrade the quality of soils or ecosystems? How do we approach total circularity? And above all: how do we preserve industrial profitability while reducing environmental impact?

The answers lie with companies like ours, capable of inventing bold processes that are as high-performing as they are innovative. This is why we have always worked to push the limits of existing technologies — combining technical efficiency, resource savings, and impact elimination through increasingly eco-efficient solutions.
We support the eco-energy transition of industrial sectors, guiding their transformation and decarbonisation.
Our processes are already present in the production of lithium for electric vehicle batteries, and in the purification of organic acids used to produce biodegradable polymers. They are also found in the development of sustainable alternatives to processes historically dependent on fossil energies.

Our environmental and social responsibility

Eurodia is an industrial company striving to reduce its own environmental footprint.

  • Our processes are eco-efficient and promote circularity. Bipolar membrane electrodialysis, for example, uses practically no chemicals and produces practically no effluent; it allows the recovery of saline effluents separated into an acid and a base, which can be reused in industrial processes. More generally, our technologies are an eco-friendly alternative to liquid-liquid extraction processes requiring chemicals.
  • We are making progress on the life cycle: in design to optimize processes’ eco-efficiency (water, energy, effluents, etc.); in production by onshoring components, minimizing waste and diverting it to recycling (plastic cutoffs in particular); and at end of life with components, via our research on consumable and spacers recycling.
  • We are providing the tools for the environmental & energy transition. We are providing the tools for the environmental and energy transition. Future-proofed industrial sectors are turning our processes into solutions for their maturation and decarbonization. These processes are found, for example, in the production of lithium for electric-car batteries, the purification of organic acids to produce biodegradable polymers, and as innovative, sustainable alternatives to conventional processes previously dependent on fossil energies.
